Sustainability integrated, future engineered, Guided by Conserve Consultants, the project achieved LEED v2009 Core & Shell Gold certification by meeting stringent global benchmarks in energy, water, materials, and indoor environmental quality.
This “sustainability integrated and future engineered” approach optimised building performance, enhanced occupant comfort, and strengthened long-term climate resilience for the asset.
This milestone, achieved after more than a decade of dedicated effort, was made possible by the proactive and visionary leadership of Mr.Kuncheria Marattukalam and team at Maratt Tech Park, whose involvement and alignment successful implementation. Their collaboration with Conserve enabled a clear roadmap, efficient execution, and a culture of continuous improvement in building performance.
Performance highlights
Achieved significant reduction in overall energy costs (excluding process loads), validated through whole-building simulations in line with ASHRAE 90.1 and 62.1-2004 standards.
Reduced indoor water consumption by 52.19%, cutting demand from 19.07 KLD to 9.12 KLD, while eliminating potable water use for irrigation and reducing irrigation demand by 93%.
Incorporated 22.06% sustainable materials by cost, with 32.12% sourced locally within a 500-mile radius, and ensured healthy, daylit spaces with daylight across 79.62% of regularly occupied areas supported by robust IAQ management.
