We are happy to share the remarkable success of Simpletree Attalika, a mixed-use development project in Dhaka, Bangladesh, which has achieved the prestigious LEED BD+C CS Gold Certification!
The mastermind behind this achievement is the renowned architect, Mohammad Foyez Ullah, Principal & Managing Director at VOLUMEZERO Limited . His architectural philosophy, recognized for its pure, austere qualities and notable dignity, has transformed the socio-economic and tropical context of Dhaka. Volume Zero, with its visionary leadership, is he creator of SIMPLETREE Attalika, It’s not just a building but a commitment to sustainable living and development.
𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: 6.12% reduction in energy costs, validated through comprehensive whole-building simulations with ASHRAE as baseline.
𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 55.92% reduction in water usage, capturing, recharging, and reusing 100% of the site’s rainwater runoff.
𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Utilized 60.8% sustainable materials by cost and 97.37% low-emitting materials for interiors.
𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝘀:
