The leadership of Mr. Y Meera Reddy and Mr. Sreeven Reddy, SRI KAUSALYA CONSTRUCTIONS LIMITED (SKCL), has indeed raised the bar in Chennai’s IT infrastructure with Central Square I. This is the fourth project of SKCL with Conserve Consultants as their Trusted Sustainability Partner.
Conserve Consultants Pvt Ltd is proud to have collaborated closely with SKCL on this ambitious journey toward sustainability and operational excellence. Here’s a glimpse of what we achieved together:
✅LEED EB O&M v4.1 Platinum Certification with an impressive score of 83 points
✅Achieved 99% building electricity consumption from off-site renewable energy, progressing towards LEED Zero Energy certification
✅Diverted 73% of building waste from landfill/incineration
✅Delivered over 35% energy use intensity improvement and 25% water use intensity reduction compared to baseline
✅Ensured superior indoor air quality with fresh air systems promoting employee health and well-being
✅Complied with strict refrigerant standards in HVAC&R systems
Implemented entryway mat systems at all regularly used exterior openings to minimize dirt and particulates
Our team started with conducting LEED workshops, handholding the operations team to identify and work on performance improvements, collaborating with vendors to meet compliance, and developing green policies like cleaning, no smoking, and sustainable purchasing to guide Central Square I’s green building journey.
