What makes this achievement special?
The facility now runs on a Net Zero Energy balance, where the energy used over a year is fully matched by clean, renewable energy.
A 250-kW rooftop solar PV system offsets all non-renewable electricity drawn from the grid and diesel backup operations.
This project stands as one of India’s early LEED Zero Energy projects and a pathbreaking example for the garment sector in Asia.
