How we helped design India’s first WELL v2 pre-certified residential project.
Big moment The Cascades Neopolis in Hyderabad just became India’s first residential project to achieve WELL v2 Pre-Certification. At 5.4 million sq ft, it’s also the largest pre-certified residential development globally.

Here’s the thing: WELL certification isn’t easy, especially not in residential projects, where user behaviour is unpredictable and design choices are deeply personal. But that’s exactly why it matters.
At Conserve, we partnered with GHR Lakshmi Urbanblocks Infra LLP from the ground up. We ran stakeholder workshops, mapped out WELL features, and tackled everything from daylight access to air quality with precision.
Here’s what that took:
Air you can trust: Hyderabad’s outdoor PM2.5 averages 22µg/m³ (WELL’s threshold: 15µg/m³). We engineered dual-stage filtration (MERV 8 + MERV 14 HEPA) and UVGI systems to make indoor air safer than outdoors.
Daylight, engineered: Facades achieve 15.7–22% glazing across various towers (WELL requires 7%), flooding homes with natural light, smart sensors then auto-adjust artificial lighting.
The invisible work: Vetting every material for low emissions from structural elements to furniture, in order to slash VOC exposure.
We at Conserve are proud to be a WELL Authorised Performance Testing Organization (PTO) and even prouder to help shape a future where sustainability and wellness aren’t add-ons, they’re engineered into the blueprint.
The real test? Applying WELL’s commercial-grade standards to luxury residences. We worked shoulder-to-shoulder with the team to embed health into every layer without blowing timelines or budgets.
This project proves that health-focused design isn’t just possible in residential spaces; it’s scalable.
